Living History Farms
Levi was the popular "kid" as soon as he picked up this critter. You know it's fall when you see an arrangement like this. I love the colors!

My new cut.
Here's what I got over my lunch hour...a new do. It's a bit more choppy and I had a good 4-5 inches cut off for sure. I love how it feels. (Ayv took the pics - she did very well!!!)

This is Louisa County!
I visited Lake Odessa on Sunday morning to catch those in attendance at the Odessa Field Day. I happened to drag my sister along with me since she was down here visiting. She hadn't been to the lake before. It was a gorgeous morning, and here are a few samples of the pics I took while there.
On our way back home, this is what the sky looked like. I don't recall seeing clouds like this before.

Sunday's coming to an end.
Ayla seems too young to have boyfriends! And this is what NOT to do on the hobby horse!

Holey Moley!
What a difference there is between using a UV filter...and not! I snapped this pic in the truck on our way home from the Photo Shop this afternoon. I had been holding out on buying filters for my new lenses...and so glad I am not waiting any longer. The sky really is blue (and the strawberry is oh, so red)!
We also had a pit-stop to pick up this lovely addition to our family. Ayv kept asking if it was a real horse that we were going to pick up. We assured her it was real - she didn't ask if it was alive. She kept thinking about how we were going to bring it home since she knew it would be too big to put in the back of the truck (all the while, Ayden telling her it was not real). Now she doesn't know if she should "trust" us. What 4 (very close to 5) year old understands the full realm of trust? I guess ours does.
I sure hope to snap some pics of the kiddos on this baby tomorrow.

more of the girls
And Ayv was thrilled when her friend, K, stopped by to play this evening. She is struggling with what to do during the day, while Ayden is in school.
Can you see from the gleam in her eyes how excited she was???
We are planning to pick up a hobby horse (like those you find at the park) tomorrow. I can't wait to see what kind of shots I can get with the kids on it!
Have a good night!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow{s}
Oh, and here are a couple of pics Levi took this afternoon to show off my wavy hair. It air dried that way! But, after a bit of hairspray it ended up looking a bit frizzy...oh well. I really like how the back looks. Hmmmm....is there a wave perm in my future???
