How long has it been???

Can you believe it's been so long since I've posted? I haven't had much time to knit. I even started a sweater for Ayv, and have the arms left to finish. But, it has been sitting for over a year. Who knows if it will fit! Instead, I've been working on raising one more lovely baby. This time, another girl. She will be six months this Saturday. Ayden is involved in his Lego NXT and getting ready to start baseball. I'm excited about it because it's NOT Teeball this year. Ayv is finishing up her year of dancing and will have her recital May 12th. She won't have a chance with ball for another year for sure, but she does well practicing with the big boys. I'm confident she'll be more than ready for it when the time comes. Until then, we'll continue to play catch along the sidelines. Ayla is very much interested in waching Ayden & Ayv do just about anything. Once the weather warms up and STAYS that way (30s-40s in April?), we'll be outside and she'll be active with the rest of us.

Last Friday we took Ayden & Ayla to the Dr for their checkups. Since Ayden will be 8 on Sunday, his checkup was uneventful. Ayla received her six month shots. She is 16 pounds and 26 1/2 inches long now. That puts her in the 60th percentile, I guess. She's eating like a champ. Takes cereal (rice and oat) well and loves her fruits. Veggies are a bit slower to go down, but she's even attempted spinach today. I also gave her yogurt for the first time tonight. She loved it! Just like the other kids. That is their snack of choice these days. I'm so glad they eat healthy snacks. I just hope it carries on throughout their life.

It's been a busy day (Ayden to school, Ayv to school, pick up Ayv, watch friend of Ayv, pick up Ayden, take Ayv & friend to dance, grocery shop with Ayden & Ayla while Ayv is at dance, pick up Ayv and friend, drop off friend, unload car of groceries, feed Ayla, and now fighting Ayla for the keyboard). Meanwhile, the hubby has been gone, but should be returning soon. I can't wait! I think I'll catch up on The Office until he gets here.
